This is a quick little post for the tea I have been making every morning. I started off wanting this tea routine to replace coffee (which was a total joke – I didn’t even last 24 hours!). But I ended up liking this tea routine so much that I make it before my coffee everyday. Not only is it healthy, but it give such a positive and calm beginning to the day. Time to focus on what is important and what makes you happy.

I slice up organic lemons, fresh ginger and fresh mint and then pour simmering filtered water over them. If the mint is not super fresh – DON’T use it, it’s really not good. More often than not I just have lemons and ginger so I don’t have to go to the store all the time, and there is no way I’m keeping a mint plant alive.

I encourage you to try a tea routine with fresh ingredients in the morning, even if you are a coffee addict like I am. Making sure to do something for yourself and your health everyday is something we need to constantly remind ourselves to do. Always take time to love yourself.
